  2. Our Free Templates
    1. Our free documents are generally available for your use and cost you nothing!

    2. Our free documents are for reference and general informational purposes only. While they may generally be suitable to be used in most circumstances, they do not cater for every situation. Our free documents are to be used at your sole discretion and at your risk. These documents should not be relied upon as the sole basis for making any decisions.

    3. While we are a law firm registered by, among others, the Ministry of Law, Singapore, your use of these documents does not create a solicitor-client relationship between you and Foxwood, or between you and any Foxwood lawyers. As such, any information you submit to us upon your use of our free documents is not protected by solicitor-client privilege.     4. If you need specific legal advice, you should not use our free documents, as every legal issue is different. Our free documents are not meant to be substitutes for legal advice or even purport to amount to opinion. Instead, you should buy our premium agreements or even bespoke agreements, where we will provide you with suitable advice and assist you to resolve your specific concerns.

  3. Our Premium Agreements, Bespoke Agreements, Legal Review and Corporate Services

    1. Our premium agreements, bespoke agreements, legal review and corporate services are paid products. The scopes of work for these products are set out in this website. The fees for our premium agreements, legal review products and certain of our corporate services are set out at this website. While the fees are currently fixed, we reserve the rights to amend the fees in the future at our discretion. The fees as well as the scope for our bespoke agreements and certain of our corporate services will be agreed with you prior to the commencement of our service and will be set out in more details in our appointment letters to you.
    2. Your fees paid to us for these products and services unfortunately do not make you our client immediately. We will need to complete and satisfy applicable laws and regulations as well as regulatory requirements, which will extend to satisfactory completion of our conflict checks and know-your-client and related reviews. Once these have been completed, we will let you know. We look forward to welcome you onboard to our Foxwood family!

    3. Once we have informed you that our necessary regulatory requirements are completed, we will establish a solicitor-client relationship and any information you submit to us are protected by solicitor-client privilege.

  4. Third Party Web Sites
    1. This website may contain links to third-party web sites which are not maintained or controlled by us. We are not responsible for the contents of these third-party web sites and shall not be liable for any damage or loss arising out of or in connection with the use of these sites.
  5. Confidentiality

    1. Except as set out below and in our privacy policy, all information that we receive from you during will be maintained in strict confidence.
    2. There may be circumstances in which we are compelled by law to provide information regarding your affairs to regulatory or other authorities, and we may not be permitted to inform you that we have done so. Whenever your legal privilege excuses us from doing so, we will claim it. If you require further advice on this area, please ask us.
    3. We may be asked, from time to time, by various publications to provide examples of any information regarding our recent experience in particular areas of practice, or we may include such information on our website. However, the duties of confidentiality by which we are bound prohibit us from naming our clients and any information that we acquire in the course of acting for them, unless we are expressly authorised to do so, or that information is already in the public domain. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, your consent is given to our disclosing the fact that you are our client and to describing the products you have purchased. This consent is appreciated and will enable us to continue to promote us and our expertise. Except to this very limited extent we will not voluntarily disclose any confidential information relating to the products you have purchased.

    1. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.
    2. A person who is not a party to these terms and conditions has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act, Chapter 53B of Singapore to enforce any of these.
